Connecting Your Laptop to the Internet with Your Gphone Handset

A great application is available for linking your Android mobile Gphone to your laptop for getting email, checking google maps or whatever else you need to do on the road.  The application is amazing.  By loading PDAnet on your phone and laptop, PDANet allows your Gphone to share it's internet connection with your laptop.  For a $29.00 on time fee, the application provides a 3G internet connection for your laptop when you are on the road.. 

 The process is called PC tethering and most carriers do not like it.  For most tethering application you have to hack your phones internal software.  The risk of ruining a several hundred phone hasn't been worth it.  But PDAnet is different .  The Gphone version is simply an android application that provides the tethering function with no hacking whatsoever.

 After you install the software on your phone and laptop find a data connection for your phone.  Plug in the USB and activate the windows application and your PC is now connected.
